Crude oil is natturraly occuring, flamable liquid found in rocks formation in the earth consisting of complex mixture of hidrocarbons of various molecular weight, plus other organics compound.

the compositions of hidrocarbons is highly variable and ranges as much as 97 % by weight in the lighter oils, to as 50 % as in the heavier liquid and bitumen.
